Spam Mail Theatre invites you to a performance of two blonde scandalous Scandinavians and Ken Star in the Alto Palermo HollywoodSoho hairdressers.
“Mami Yanqui” was a happening devised and performed in a children’s hairdressers. The hair salon housed a roundabout and mini slide upon which we gyrated and hand-jived as if we were superstar DJs. The piece explored the yanquilizacion (yank-ilization) of the Spanish language and the electro-house club scene in Argentina.
